Chain Saw Setup

While the WEN chain saw is primarily pre-assembled when you take it out of the box, you'll have to attach the guide bar and chain to the machine before use. Ensure that the bar is securely attached and that the teeth on the chain face the direction of operation when the saw runs. Tighten the chain tension to the point where you can pull the chain forward manually with ease and ensure that the chain doesn't sag at all on the underside of the guide bar.
